Installed on a Ford 390 FE make sure you buy the right one . There are two housing sizes on these FE thermostats one has a thicker gasket and smaller hole for thermostat, the other has a bigger hole and a thinner gasket , mine uses the smaller hole thicker gasket I always mess up and get the wrong one .
