Installed this rear main seal on my 2003 Chevy Trailblazer equipped with the 4.2L inline 6 while I was replacing my transmission. Fitment was perfect. There is a perfect amount of gasket maker to seal the edges of the housing. This assembly was so much easier to install rather than just replacing the rubber seal around the crankshaft. Also they include a plastic sleeve that allows you to slip this assembly on with ease and not worry about damaging the rubber / Teflon seal that goes around the crankshaft. Highly recommend. Especially for the price.
