They are definitely clevite bearings but not "clevite 77" And of course im the lucky one that gets the messed up ones! I'm sure they would make it right with me if I wanted to mess with doing and exchange but I don't. Just make sure you bearings are not messed up before install!

Make sure you are getting what you want. Description says Clevite 77 but Product Specification clearly state aluminium. True Clevite 77 tri-metal bearings are more expensive.

Arrived undamaged, no nicks in the bearings. Fit great into the rods and mains, double checked clearance with plasti gauge and everything was spot on. I always use mahle clevite for their quality and great price and will continue doing so
