I bought this sharpener specifically so I could sharpen my set of Triocolor Grand drawing pencils. These are extra thick colored pencils, and the sharpener worked perfectly on them.

This is a very sharp, over-sized sharpener that easily handles the large graphite crayons. Very nice quality and very sharp blade.This is a family-owned business, and I felt good for supporting them, too.

I was shopping for a sharpener that could sharpen chalk without breaking it. This sharpener is more than I could have asked for. It sharpens the chalk smoothly and can bring the point to a fine end. This has helped to make my job so much easier!

If you have Lyra graphite crayons, you need this.If you're really into the Lyra crayons, save the shavings and use them as powdered graphite. No need to thank me!
