I have no experience with scuffing a ball cover but I used the 2000 grit and the pad did a fine job for me. The pad did plug up some but I think that I can get another use, or two, out of it. So far I am very happy with this purchase.

These are pretty light weight with some noticable gaps in grit separations. Great for quick hit of surface but not for serious resurfacing

Great bargain compared to Abralon pads at about $5.00 a piece . Work well rinse well. Will defiantly purchase again

I have bought thousands of Abralon, Saaiar and CTD pads. These are pitiful. I had bought some within a few weeks. Red pads, these were true to grit. The white ones are not even close. I use from 240 to 5000 grit pads. I know grit, the white ones are terrible.

Resurfacing your bowling ball to the new Storm 4K finish is no problem. There are numerous You Tube videos explaining the process.These sanding pads hold up surprisingly well compared to the red foam sanding pads.
