I was watching how to use an extruder to do what they call, "Retro Cains." These are amazingly simple and will save you a ton of time. Check out a few of the videos. I really like the two ways you can do that trick. The first style I tried was a double-disc then I did the single. Two tricks here, make sure your clay is body warm. Your hands with appreciate it and the extruded clay won't have frayed edges. Second, use a smaller disc, I used a small square and behind it, inside the extruder, put a larger holed disc. Both methods work but you need to make sure your clay is well prepared.I love the Makins extruder and wish I had as many as I have clay colors! I own two of the syringe-type extruders and they make my hands ache and my fingers get all marked up with bruises when I use them. Spend the extra money for the A through D sets because it is value for money!

I have bnot had the chance to use this yet but I have another set I have used. Great quality and works great. I use mine to create imbeds for soap using soap dough.

I use these with polymer clay [I have the Makin's clay gun, as well]. I think this is the 3rd or 4th series of extruder discs, so this set added to the variety I already have.

Not what I thought it was (the title is a little hard to cipher through). For the price I could get a whole new extruder WITH the discs I was looking for. Otherwise they work great
