Although this older model is not listed on the packaging, I was pleased to find out it fit my router perfectly. I was also glad to see it was actually a name brand product as I wasn’t sure if it would be a generic brand.

I like this collet, because it enables me to use a lot of router bits i have (us-size) in my portable Makita router (metric).

After buying an Einhell 18v palm router (model ‎4350412), I found it only had a collet for 6mm bits, so my fine collection of 1/4 " bits could not be used. This Makita 763637-1 Collet Cone solved the problem.There are cheaper collets available, but I went for the brand name.Overpriced, overpackaged, but now I can use all my router bits.

Quand j'ai commandé une mallette de fraise je n'ai pas fait attention que le diamètre était de 6,35 donc obligé d'acheter une pince correspondant mais cela est parfait comme ça je peux utiliser ma mallette

It is imperial as the description said. I checked the part number before but it is Amazon, you never know. It looks genuine but the main thing is that the collet can finally hold my Micro Jig dove tail router bit.
