I am impressed with this set overall. It is a great price for this type of dishware set. Everything arrived in good shape and was packaged very neatly and carefully.It is a set for four people, so it is perfect for most of my get-togethers with friends for family because I rarely have more than 4 people at one time. The weight of dishes has a good feel, like sturdy enough that they shouldn’t break or chip easily, but light enough to carry around with a full serving of food on it.As I unpacked it, there were a few black spots on the sides that I thought were going to be an issue, but it was just a bit of tiny debris from packaging/factory and washed right off.The finish is smooth and shiny. The color is very good overall. Not a paper white, but better than some of my other “white” mugs from other manufacturers. The dishes do have some cosmetic flaws, but they are pretty minor and very similar to the small flaws in my other stoneware and porcelain dishes. The glazing or coating process can be a bit uneven sometimes. If you are familiar with stoneware, you will know this is the case.Overall, this is a great dish set. Since it is white it can be paired with a lot of other dishes and colors. I have some yellow and green Fiestaware and these look great together with it.I would not hesitate to buy this as a gift for a newlywed couple who is just starting out, someone for their new apartment, or for a college student who has a kitchen area, as well as for your own personal use. I would buy this product again. It is an especially good buy for the price. A similar set in my local department store is normally 2x this price!If you want more details, read on…Microwave use has been fine so far. The dishes do not get exceedingly hot while food stays cold like some of my other glass dishes. The food warms (and the dish warms too).These had no issue in the dishwasher. No chips or problems so far. I will update if anything changes.I have not used them in the oven. They say they are oven safe, but I typically don’t use any dishes like this in the oven so I have not had the occasion to try it out.This set is similar to a dish set sold at my local department store for $120 (I have seen it on sale for about $60). However, the dish set from the department store has 10 oz mugs and this Malacasa set has 16 oz mugs. I love the size of these mugs! They might be a bit heavy for some, but I like having the extra space for more coffee! The bowls in the department store set hold 20 oz and are not as deep. This set has 26 oz bowls. Again, I like having that larger size bowl especially for stew and I love the deeper sides. Many of the bowls in sets like these are flatter, almost like a plate. The deeper style doesn’t fit quite as well in the dishwasher, but oh well, I can deal with that trade off.I have included lots of photos so anyone reading this can see examples of everything I shared here. In a few of the photos one or more of the dishes looks a slightly different color. They are not. The color difference is only in the photo due to lighting/flash and not on the dishes. They are all the same exact same color of white (see photo that includes food and in the box before unpacking as an example).

I needed plates and bowls quickly, and the cheaper options I was looking at were all going to be too late being delivered...so I ordered this. While I do think it's a little overpriced for plain white round dinnerware, I really like it. Others have commented that it doesn't sit 100% perfectly, and that's true with one of the dinner plates which is just very slight "off", but I have to look quite closely to notice, and frankly who does that once it's sitting in the cupboard?The pasta bowls are a great size - I find that a lot are too large for a normal sized portion, so you tend to load up the bowls, and I don't need any help over-eating. These are perfect. They're also big enough to hold a very sturdy salad, which is what I use them most frequently for.I also think the dinner plates are a good size, and the way they're shaped doesn't lead you to overfill the plate. One thing I really like is that there are zero marks from cutting on the plates. I've had multiple other sets in the past that quickly mark, especially if you're using a steak knife on them. I've been using these for two months and everything looks absolutely brand new.I saw comments about the pieces chipping. I haven't had any issues. While I'm not throwing them carelessly around, I have banged them together accidentally, or closed the dishwasher too forcefully and stuff has gone flying on the rack and banged into each other. No problems.Overall I'm very happy. I'd give this a 4.5 if I could.

Es muy bonita (si te gustan las vajillas sencillas como a mí) y tiene los tamaños perfectos. Viene en una caja con protecciones entre los platos.

Ich will ehrlich sein: meine erste Wahl ist dieses Set nicht, sieht es doch auf den Bildern irgendwie nach Krankenhausgeschirr aus.Aber ich brauchte nun mal ein neues Set und habe mich vom Preis locken lassen. Und wurde positiv überrascht. In echt sieht das Geschirr um einiges besser aus. Es zerkratzt nicht. Die Teller sind wesentlich dicker und schwerer als gedacht. Und so gut verpackt, da konnte gar nix kaputt gehen ( und der DHL Bote hat sein Bestes getan und das Paket auf dem Hof fallen lassen )Geliefert wird übrigens in zwei Kartons, in jedem ein 6er- Set. Fest in Styropor und zwischen den Tellern noch so tuchähnliche Plastiklappen.Für den Preis kann man wirklich nichts verkehrt machen und wenn ich mal wieder einen Teller zerdeppern sollte, ist das nicht so tragisch, denn jetzt hab ich ja genug :-)
