We have had SO much fun, laughter anticipation building this trap! The grandchildren are constantly reconstructing the trap to make it less suspicious for the wily Leprechauns!

I am a stay at home mom of two toddlers, so I am always on the lookout for new and fun activities to do at home with them. When I saw this, I thought it'd be perfect for St. Patrick's Day, and it was! My kids had a blast doing it, and they can't wait to see if they can catch a leprechaun! Now, St. Patrick's Day is still a little over a month out, but for the sake of the review, I opted to complete it with them early. For starters, it arrived well packaged and free of any damage or missing pieces. Assembly is mostly straightforward, but I will say, younger kids like mine will need help from a grown up because attaching some of the pieces together can be a little tricky. The 'trap' itself is made of wood and has a decent thickness to it, but I did notice the wood on some of the sides that push together frayed a little during assembly. It's to be expected from a kit like this, though. We did a simpler version of this craft last year, and they were excited to build a two story trap this time. The pieces are well painted, and it comes with a bunch of little decorations they can attach to the trap, which was their favorite part. Once assembled, the trap is pretty sturdy, but I opted to use some hot glue on the sides of the trap to help keep it together, especially considering it's going to be out for a while before St. Patrick's Day and I don't want it to come apart before they get to use it. Overall, it was a fun project and definitely kept my kids entertained and engaged when building it. It's a good value, and I would definitely recommend it!

My daughter loved this!She didnt use the base and had found is frustrating to put together but she had already been working on one out of a box so she just used the other pieces that the kit came with. It honestly includes so many cute signs and ladders and gold pieces.... we had been trying to collect parts for the last few weeks from all over but this is a cohesive and complete kit.I highly recommend this for leprechaun catching... will return back if we are lucky enough to catch one!

It's so cute, easy to assemble, and great of quality! It also came with instructions and all the tools needed to assemble it, so I didn’t have to scrounge up supplies and brainstorm like crazy. And it gave me some freedom to decorate and thus personalize it. It worked very well and caught a few goblins. The kids had a blast playing with it!
