I needed something to hold my slightly too big,& expensive engagement ring in place, and this is the perfect thing! I have a soliary diamond with a plain silver band, which I love just that way, but didn't want to ruin it by having it cut & resized, nor did I want to overpower it with a bunch of zirconia. This band is thin (but very sturdy-wont bend in the least- and the zirconia chips are tiny, so it "enhances" the ring and keeps it on my finger well. The two rings this consists of are connected in the back so they don't slide. I feel really secure with this protector around my precious engagement ring for my very first (and last!) engagement and marriage. It's very easy to put on. You just slide it under your stone, inside the two bands. It will bring your ring down about half a size if you order your normal size, but I think I ordered a 6.5 to go around my 7, just to be extra sure. Once it's past my knuckle, it fits perfectly. I don't know how long it will stay nice, hopefully for a year til I can replace it with my wedding ring, but for $15.99 or so, this is an unbeatable bargain! Perfect for any ring in a matching band color that you want to keep from sliding, or losing by it dropping off. PS- This ring looks to me just like the real thing! All the tiny stones are there & in place after 4 solid days, good sign. But I'll definitely update my review when anything changes! Thank you for reading, and I hope I've been able to help!

This ginormous amethyst was given to me by my grandmother. Her birthday was February 20th and mine is February 21st. Back in the 70’s when she was married to my grandfather in the navy, this amethyst was gifted to her by friends who went mining and had it set because amethyst was her birthstone. By the time I had seen it in my teens, around 2005, the gold band had broken and remained that way until I got it fixed as a surprise years later. (The photo references how thin the band is.) since it’s real gold, it would bend easily and I was afraid of it breaking again so I got this enhance to keep it in place until I could get a real gold enhancer, but honestly there doesn’t even seem to be a point. It looks gorgeous and accents the real gold very well, and it adds it’s own flare without taking away from the centerpiece/amethyst. I feel like it’s protected and it no longer bends when I wear it. As a very common general warning, SIZE UP. It’s very snug since I didn’t do so but my ring band is so thin it doesn’t affect the wear too much. If my band were any bigger though, it would not be comfortable. I’m not docking stars for user error, though. In general, this enhancer is wonderful for what it’s worth! Inexpensive but looks real and it even adds a new elegance to my amethyst ring. I LOVE it!

this ring is beautiful, just be sure to get the same size as the ring you’re using it with. my engagement ring is 5 1/4 and the ring i ordered is 5. because of the bars on the bottom of the ring connecting the sides, my engagement ring doesn’t fit and i won’t be able to wear it

While this item is absolutely stunning and matches my engagement ring perfectly…It’s not designed in any way to be a ring guard that is actually used with another ring.I’d love to give it more stars, but I feel that would be misleading.The bard that connect the two rings together are placed directly between the two rings, so when you go to place your engagement ring inside, the ring is elevated and will not make the ring set for properly on your hand.You may take a flathead and a hammer to correct this - which I can say from experience is quite a bit of work!Or I would suggest to just not get the ring with the purpose of pairing it with another.On it’s own it’s beautiful as well, but pretty bummed that I cannot wear this with my wedding band.At least it was ridiculously cheap, and now I know that I’d be happy to see my engagement ring paired with such a beautiful ring guard/enhancer!But buyers please beware!You probably could try sizing up, but it still would not fit properly in my opinion.

The ring itself is nice.HOWEVER, I bought the to be as an enhancer for my solitaire, but it does not allow my ring to fit inside of it. I’m genuinely curious how other people are able to use it with a ring in between.

Better than what I expected. Did go up half a size my normal ring size. Fits perfectly with my cushion engagement ring. Very dainty and perfect fit for smaller hands and fingers. Very comfortable 10/10 recommend

I have very small hands so I ordered a 4 which ordinarily is a bit loose. But this 4 is snug almost to the point of being uncomfortable and once I try to add another ring it might not fit at all
