I have a huge roll of their 1.5 inch black knit elastic also, they are both excellent value and quality. I will warn though, the 1.5 inch came in a box, I was expecting/hoping the .75 inch would too, but it just came in a bag that I wouldn't want to keep it in long term. It's a minor downside, I still highly recommend this brand's knit elastic. It's sturdy but soft, and because its knit, it doesn't shrink in width when stretched, and is easy to put a pin in it for tidy storage.

This is a role of 5/8" black elastic. It is indeed 5/8" wide, it is black, and there are about 25 years of it.My first problem with it is that it didn't come wrapped on a roll or spool or bobbin of any sort it's just coiled around itself, in a plastic bag. Consequently, as soon as you take it out of the bag and pull out the plastic "pin" holding it together, you end up with a heap of 75 feet of tangled elastic at your feet. For crying out loud, can't they at least wind this around a cardboard core, like they do with ribbon?Even so, I could have lived with that, but the elastic itself is kind of wimpy. It does stretch and recover OK, and might be fine for certain applications. But for me it just wasn't strong enough, unless I quadrupled it, and that made it too thick. I'll probably find a use for it eventually, but for current projects it's a no-go.
