Purchased this for my grand daughter for Valentine’s Day. The packaging was amazing. The kit is so nice. The four wood pieces to paint on are very high quality. She immediately opened it and painted two wood rocks. She is going to have so much fun with this rock painting set.

This kit comes with everything you need to make beautiful mandala rocks! The stencils, brushes, paints, and other materials are great quality. I especially appreciate the stencils since I am a beginner. Definitely a great mindfulness activity as it requires focus and patience, which results in a peaceful sense of calm during and after painting. Will be so fun to do with family and friends as well, definitely will be bringing this to my next girls’ night. For my first time ever making a mandala rock, I’m so impressed with my results. They also make for beautiful, personalized decorations and gifts. If you are looking for a high quality, beginner friendly mandala rock painting kit, this one is definitely for you!

This brand and set are so amazing! I originally ordered 10 of just the wooden stones from them, and that product alone sold me when I discovered this set. The wooden stones are the best pre-made mandala/rock painting "canvas" on Amazon in terms of usability and price.This set takes it a step above with the silicone stencils tailored for these wooden stones that you can continue to order from them. While the paint may not be the best, it's better than starting with none. There are also methods to adjust the consistency to make it better for dotting.The tools are great, with the right paint of course. I guess after someone mentioned not having a large dowel, they've included one since. Mine came with a dowel that is actually only the 3rd largest in a separate set, but it's still good for beginners. I also received a white gel pen, but a white charcoal or chalk pencil would have been exactly what was needed.An essential one-time buy. I'll be looking forward to ordering even more wooden stones now!

I bought this for my daughter as a fun rainy day activity and it didn't disappoint. The paints were high quality (and didn't smell!). Easy to apply the paint. Good use of imagination as you just paint as you see fit. Only downside was that the templates were a bit fiddly to use.

The three “stones†are actually made out of perfectly shaped 3 1/2†wood. All the supplies you need are in this package. Paint brushes, dot pens, acrylic rods, tracing pen, paints, patterns and directions and design ideas. Step-by-step instructions are very helpful.

Everything is great except the paint isn't good quality. The little pods are very hard to open and the paint is clumpy even after stirring.
