I needed some 6mm stainless countersunk machine screws for a project. I used 8 in total to secure a ski skid to to a aluminum bracket that attaches to some adaptive ski equipment. Worked well when tapped into an M6 x 1.0mm tapped hole, and seated perfectly in a standard countersunk hole. Being exposed to moisture, I'll know very soon if they are corrosion resistant.

A basic functional replacement for retaining a Honda disk rotor. While these screws are not necessary for operation, they do help insure the rotor is flat to the hub and centrically placed when the wheel is torqued on.The seller does not state what type of "Stainless Steel" this bolt is but it is mildly magnetic when placed next to a rare-earth magnet. Given that stainless steel can be either magnetic or non-magnetic this is by itself not a reasonable indicator. Since there are no specifics on the type of SS, the corrosion resistance and hardness are unknown.I did use a small amount of copper anti-seize on these when mounting to reduce the chance of seizing.

The factory ones always strip out when changing rotors, so these were a must and a perfect replacement. Great value and plenty in the order to last a few jobs.

These screws are used on many Honda products to keep the rotor basically in place prayer to the wheel being mounted. They are sometimes damaged upon removal, particularly in places where a lot of road salt has been used. I do find that using a manual hammer impact type Phillips screwdriver has been my most successful technique for removing these with minimal damage. But, sometimes damage still happens. These stainless steel replacements are well fitting alternative to the Honda originals. As they are stainless steel the corrosion rate is dramatically lower than with standard steel screws. They may not take as high a peak tightening torque. That, however, shouldn't be an issue as there is no need to overtighten these upon installation. Made in China.
