Story behind the MAONOCASTER AME2:
After shipping over 200,000 units of Maonocaster Lite to over 50 markets around the world, we are now launching the successor MaonoCaster E2 series podcast console. It is an all-new product with a brand new design, substantial performance improvements, and new features. We also improved user experiences and fixed glitches based on valuable customer feedback.
MaonoCaster E2 kept every feature that was loved by our users and we have also added XLR microphone support on top of it. It has built-in phantom power and premium microphone amps with a gain switch. You can use any of your favorite XLR condenser or dynamic microphone and record ultra-clear sound with it.
MaonoCaster AME2 specially designed 3-level microphone gain adjustment and 48V phantom power for best performance of more microphone. We kindly suggest that you read the following notes before use.
1. Please confirm your microphone type and sensitivity
If you connect to your own microphone, please refer to the user manual of the microphone to confirm the microphone type and sensitivity.
2. Please confirm if your microphone needs to turn on the 48V phantom power
XLR connected condenser mics require phantom power, dynamic mics do not.
3. Please adjust the 'MIC1 SETTING' on the side of the audio interface to the correct position.
40dB: condenser mic sensitivity higher than -40dB, like MAONO PM320/PM500/AT2020
50dB: dynamic mic sensitivity between -50dB and -55dB, like Samson Q2U/HD300T
60dB: dynamic mic sensitivity between -55dB and -60dB, like Shure SM7B/SM58/MV7

This soundboard is a beast for my PlayStation 5, great for live streaming, soundboard, playing music in game or party chat, the ability to customize the way you operate this board giving you the ability of different inputs and outputs you can do. For the price and the features I thought it was a good buy! If I found this on sale it would have been even better!

The tech support team was a great help to get everything all fixed. This device looks good, sounds clean and feels good adjusting the sliders, the buttons, and things of that nature. Overall i think this device is very well built and sounds really especially if you feed it a good clean signal. A few things to note, if your wall power isn't very clean and you want to charge the device while using it you may get a buzzing sound during operation. That being said battery life is pretty good, and overall sounds pretty damn good for the price, another thing to note, i had to update the drivers for it because there was some noise before the update when the output was turned up above half way, but was pretty easy to do and didn't take very long to do. another thing is if you have multiple devices with high gain you may get some noise, i have a sound card that feeds the mixer which then goes into a speaker with its own gain knob and depending on which device has too much gain you can hear a buzzing sound, i personally like the adjustability of all of the controls and how to adjust everything to get the sound output you want. All that being said i do recommend this product it has a few little issues but overall well worth the money, plus if you have a xlr microphone you will have even more adjustability with the sensitivity, voice control settings (bring out your lows, mids and highs) and will sound great aswell.

I purchased this unit a while back and it worked great for my first podcast. I didn’t use it for about a year and then recently tried using it but having difficulties with the audio that would stream to my Instagram. I worked with tech support to determine the product was defective BUT THE COMPANY TOTALLY STOOD BEHIND ME AND REPLACED RHE UNIT. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BRAND. IM SURE THE NEXT UNIT WILL WORK GREAT!

The instrument knob in the instrument game and the output is all different from what’s coming through the headphones.. the other maonocasters work perfectly this one has issues with the sound going to the streaming device. It’s not what you hear. There’s no way to get it even. Or sound good through the headphones it has to be through a monitor. This needs to be told before anybody buys this. Get the maonoCaster AMD200 it does that already. It works perfect for the same price.
