Excellent value! This drum sounds great with a variety of tunings and is very responsive. A good choice for those on a budget or (like me) looking for a smaller, lighter drum to lug around to my gigs.

I literally feel like I just bought a very expensive snare, I feel like you can tune it to what ever you want and feels really solid and not at all cheaply made... it comes with a Remo head and can have that crack sound if you tune it to that. Mine came with a very low pitch and I feel like it's very durable... you are not waisting your money at all! But it!

I was quite impressed with the sound this little snare gave me. All I did was tune the heads a bit, readjust the strainer and jammed with it. I love this thing and for under $100! I would recommend this to play around with to any drummer.

I purchase this snare piccolo thinking on the price and the quality usually mapex delivers and its just wonderful. I have a premier drum set and this piccolo adjust to it almost perfect. Great sound, I use to have a pearl mapple piccolo that has also a great great sound but this one for the price its just amazing.

The snare is advertised as metal, it is not ... I could see by the other reviews and the descriptions it was not . So I received the the black lacquered wood version, which is fine with me. This snare is loud AF and snappy. I have it high tuned and it sounds great. Should have gotten it when it was 100-125 bucks, procrastination cost me 75+ bucks.Excellent snare , it sounds great, tunes up well and everything works. Looks great showed up early and in prefect order. The box has accurate description of the wood snare on it.

Tja, dat war wohl nix. OK, für den Preis war ja auch eigentlich nix zu erwarten. Lieber etwas mehr investieren.
