Very heavy roller and it works nice making flour tortillas and pie crust. I would buy again because of the weight and length.

Long enough to roll out large batches of dough, not heavy to use or operate, you can but in the freezer or frig to cool if your dough is to warm. Marble warmers are the best.

I received this gorgeous rolling pin this morning and couldn't wait to unbox it. It was packaged really well and is quite hefty. The marble cradle is a wonderful touch. I removed the rolling pin from the foam it was encased in and, while admiring the beauty of it, I found a small crack. Just one, but I can feel it with my fingernail. It would he great if there was a way I could get a partial refund since I do expect it will crack completely in half. I wouldn't hesitate to order a replacement from this seller. Delivery was lightening fast and it couldn't have been packaged any more securely than it was. It's a shame I will worry if each time I use this beauty will be the last time. If I could get even a$10 partial refund I won't feel like I've wasted my money. Again, I will be purchasing another from this seller when this one cracks clean through, as I expect it will. This rolling pin will be an amazing addition to my kitchen decor.

Replacement for a similar one which literally broke in half in the middle of me using it. So far this one works well. I like the style of it especially because I have tendinitis in my thumbs and wrists and this style of rolling pin is much easier on me than the traditional one with the handles on each end.

This was purchased as a gift for a friend who loves to bake etc.. she had always wanted one and so we thought to search out the longer size than the average one that sells online. She loved it! It looks beautiful on her countertop and love that it comes with a small matching stand to hold it.if I get into baking more pies and rolling out tortillas or something, I’ll be back to buy my own!

I checked off 5 stars for "lightweight", but truly, it's the perfect weight. Not too light, not too heavy. The quality, the smoothness, the coolness of this rolling pin makes rolling out dough so easy. It feels wonderful to use! Thank you for this high quality item!
