Used these at an indoor sporting event to track start and end of games and keep the schedule on time.They work perfectly...for hours and hours and the building was very large and could be heard in theentire facility.

I put this review under a 4 star only because I don’t read 3 stars and below because people like to complain about TRIVIAL THINGS which is annoying to me. This air horn is garbage AND for for the price it is a TRAGEDY BUYMickey Mouse because it is not loud at all even in short blasts. You would be dead before anyone heard it. You would be better off with a regular whistle because it is louder and travels just as far. Just learn the pattern on how to send a distress signal. DONT BUY THIS PRODUCT

Very loud. Stopped an attacking dog while walking down road. Definitely works as a backup to pepper spray.

UPDATE: Thanks to Amazon, this was addressed and the appropriate action was taken! Koodos to Amazon, they always come through, when it's the right thing to do! I appreciate you,for appreciating me! 😉ðŸ‘ðŸ¾ðŸ‘ðŸ¾ðŸ‘ðŸ¾ðŸ‘ðŸ¾ðŸ‘ðŸ¾Makes no sound whatsoever 🤨 I waited until I was in an open space before testing this and I'm so disappointed. 😞 There's only a poof ðŸŒ¬ï¸ sound and a leaky chemical smell that drops and nothing else. 🧠When I attempted to return it, once I got to the option for Return, the prompt takes me to "Reason for Return" after I choose "Defective" - it will not allow me to complete the return, it keeps jumping back to "Continue Shopping" instead of completing the return. I don't wish to continue shopping, I would like a full refund and I regret that I took a chance on ordering after reading that other customers had the same problem that I'm having. I'm very disappointed that it gives the option to return but will not allow me to complete the return. I don't recommend this brand (Better Boat). So disappointed. 😞 I've called the company and left a message and I'm still waiting on a call back, which I don't believe I will receive. My first Review was not Posted and no action has been taken to rectify. I do not recommend this item at all. Will not order anymore when companies don't stand by their product. I'm always suspect when Returns are not offered automatically, I should have followed my instinct. Not sure why first Review wasn't posted but will not Review anymore.

So. I ordered the larger size and two of the smaller refills. In retrospect I guess I should have gotten the smaller size since the horn part fits on the smaller refills but will not screw onto the larger canister rendering it useless. In essence, I paid 16 dollars for the top to use on the smaller refills. It is very loud which is very good.

Je marche souvent en forêt et je me suis procuré cet objet pour faire fuir les ours. Impressionnant le bruit que cette sirène fait. J'aime aussi son petit format. Très pratique à transporter dans sa main ou sur une ceinture. Si vous voulez faire du bruit c'est l'objet idéal.

Bought this to ward off coyotes when walking my dog if needed. Haven’t had to use it yet but love the size and ability to keep it with me on a walk. Hopefully I never have to use but something great to help me feel safer!
