Used to keep my custom built headache rack from rattling on my pickup. The stainless steel is great because it looks great without painting and will stay that way. The provided screws would be great for wood, but not great for steel. The adjustable tension is great because you can make it just right.Good latch for a decent price.

I ordered these latches for a green house I just built. The green house kit was from Harbor Freight and the doors slide like barn doors. They did not come with a latch. We live in Oklahoma and high winds are common so I needed to latch the doors closed. I chose these because they are stainless steel, not plated and the latch design was perfect for what I needed. The handle cams over and stays latched. They were easy to install and had a wide adjustable range.

Prodcut arrived as advertised and expected. NIce and compact; appears to be very durable. Only issues was did not come with fastening hardware and one bolt pattern is stagggered vs straight which may be an issue for intended replacement use.

This is one of those “I need to keep a pile on hand for projects and fixes†things that not only fixes the reason why you bought it but opens up a plethora of ideas for current and future things.I sold a ‘79 Fiat Spider Hardtop to a local guy and he ended up wiring it down with copper wire and I said “look, I will buy this and give it to you†but what I wanted to say was “dude, your restoring the car and are happy with a zip tie or electrical wire tie down over these shined tension adjusting clasps?â€! But I kept it to myself.Just a few good notes:1: Counter sink screw head area so you don’t bust your knuckles reaching for it (you know that flat head screw with a burr that rips your skin off and makes you cry like a six year old as your wife applies Nu-Skin on it.2. It has the variable latching length which covers your screw hole errors.3. The same but not only adjusts the length but the tension so the hook doesn’t flip open during vibrations and in this guys situation, half of a hard top is flailing in the wind.4. It’s shiney!5. It works!6. Considering someone paid for a container of these from China, shipped it to a Amazon depot and they shipped it to you somehow (that’s three shipments minimum) it’s cheapNow for the bad:Not mad in the US but this is why it is cheapI hope this helps! Please give me a finger up of it did!

Needed for my trailmate cooler.Wanted a hinge that is stainless,lockable,and most importantly adjustable.Too much pressure could do some damage to plastic lid of cooler.These work well for snugging down the lid to weatherstripping.
