I like the farmhouse look and using a scale is one great way to decorate.Made in China, this scale is really well made. Everything is nicely finished and it came well packaged and comes with a small screw driver.Hint: When you unpack it, there is just one simple thing you need to do to get it ready to use. You need to take the two outside screws out of the bar on top as seen in pictures 1 & 2 using the provided screwdriver. Then, take the piece that looks like a cross. Make sure that you place the cross bar that has the bend down as seen in picture 4 with the bend going down to properly hold the bowls.There are two light weight stainless steel bowls. They can be put in the dishwasher if needed and do just fine. I stacked mine inside of each other because I wasn't actually going to use this scale to weigh produce. The bowls are made light weight intentionally to make it easier to adjust the scale to zero. It weighs in pounds/ounces and kilograms/grams.I placed a few faux pumpkins in the bowl for decoration and they are just so perfect! Love this scale!This is a gift that is sure to be appreciated by the farmhouse enthusiast.Highly Recommend.
