fair device. only complaints being the tare screw being underneath the bowl, and a cut out in the needle to more accurately read where you're at should be added. over all, i use this more over my digital scale. don't bake that often so when i use the digital the batteries are usually dead. there's definitely use for them, but for me, analogue's the way to go.

I ordered this scale to weigh certain foods for my dogs. The scale is small and easy to store on my countertop. It does require a little assembly, but it’s easy to put together. Just make sure not to overtighten the screws because they’ll strip easily. It’s easy to use the knob to calibrate the scale, but I can’t verify that it weighs perfectly. I don’t need perfect measurements for what I’m using it for, so if it’s a bit off, I’m ok with that. It’s easy to read the dial, and it’s easy to clean as well.

The screws to put the bowl holder on were very soft metal which made it hard to install the bowl holder without stripping the screw.The calibration dial is a bit wonky. When you turn it a little, it jumped quite a bit, but then you turn it the same amount and it wouldn't necessarily move that same amount. I was able to calibrate it to zero though.I put a 2 pound weight in to confirm it is measuring correctly. Put a 4 pound weight right after (it was calibrated to zero at empty still) and it says it weighs 4.25 pounds. *It is possible the hand weight is not exactly 4 pounds.Overall it is very cute, but not sure it will be reliable if you need exact measurements.
