I was constantly losing my change while snoozing on the couch. This solved the problem it is a quality leather pouch that fits well in your front pocket. Once you get the hang of it you can easily get into and out of it.

I have used this type of coin purse for years. Each one I used in the past was constructed the exact same way and successfully kept the change inside contained. This particular purse appears to be made of quality leather but, unfortunately, the manufacturer failed to incorporate a traditional design feature that makes this style coin purse work well. As a result, the change didn't remain inside the purse and was constantly loose in my pocket, which mostly defeats the purpose of using a coin purse. This item is basically worthless. I quit using it after about two weeks.

I was given one of these as a gift years and years ago. I wore it out and tried more than once to replace it. The long reach of internet shopping helps, but not all versions are the same.This particular one is a terrific combination of sturdy, thicker leather construction (compared with more than one of similarly priced alternatives), and reasonable price (versus very nice but 5x to 10x the cost).

This change purse has such a strong chemical odor that I had to get it out of the house very quickly after opening the package. The odor of the interior surfaces is especially choking. The item is too inexpensive to bother returning, so I have put it in my detached garage with the purse propped open to maximize exposure to the air in the hope that the odor will dissipate.(Why do evaluation criteria for shoes appear when accessing the review form for this item?)Update 10/30/16 After several weeks' exposure to fresh air, the odor has dissipated only a bit, so I have concluded that the purse will never be usable.
