Kudos to Martin Furniture of San Diego, CA for the extreme packaging of their product (credenza) to withstand shipping from their storage facility to our home in central Illinois. I was pleasantly surprised that it was completely intact and undamaged. Now, the reason I only gave 3 stars in this review; The shipment was controlled by NSD (NonstopDelivery Inc.), but when the credenza reached St. Louis, it was subcontracted to T&T Logistics. T&T Logistics only delivers to central Illinois on either Monday or Friday, so I had to reschedule their first delivery attempt. On the rescheduled delivery day, they lost the credenza on their dock and it did not get placed on their truck. They did not call me to inform me of this.....I finally called them at 3:30pm to find out why it had not been delivered. A wasted a day. So delivery had to be rescheduled again. So, on their 3rd try (5 days later), they promised delivery between 12pm-3pm. It finally arrived at 10:30pm! I spoke to the two delivery gentlemen. They had over 35 stops that day, some requiring assembly, and they still had three more deliveries in the area. Then they had to drive back to St. Louis. I was appalled how their employer had over scheduled. These gentlemen were exhausted! And I wasted two days of my life waiting on delivery by T&T Logistics.

*Not* made in America (despite advertisement stating made in California) and the top has fake paneling. It's a literal painted on black line meant to resemble solid wood panels. Skip this piece, it's disappointing.

This desk is beautifully made and the colors are gorgeous!! I am so pleased that I ordered the set for my new office . It was delivered fully assembled and was packaged to prevent any damage. Expected delivery came a little faster than expected, but the delivery team was very accommodating. Excellent purchase!!
