We have a 10 month old Golden Retriever who loves to take US on walks. Lol. We have been watching you tube videos left and right and trying so many techniques on how to leash train your dog. She is stubborn as all hell and we even tried a shock, vibration, beep collar. It just didn't work on her. She didn't react to any of the 3 options. We watched a video with a guy walking a Husky using a collar similar to this. We decided to give it a try and on her first walk within her first few steps she was walking at our pace at our side. This collar has really redefined walks for us and made them more enjoyable.Since Kira has thicker fur, we also removed the rubber tips. She seems to respond to it more without the rubber tips. She doesn't yelp or whine with the collar on and even if we change direction without her paying attention and it jerks her a little rough, she still doesn't yelp or whine. So this collar doesn't do any harm unless used the wrong way and not for it's intended purpose. The prongs can still pose a risk if not used with caution. The added benefit of this collar too is that because it's got a soft outer shell, it looks like a normal collar, so you can avoid the "you're using a prong collar?" Heckles from all of THOSE kinds of people. Lol. She gets lots of compliments on her pretty collar and she is so much easier to walk. Our goal is that she won't need it in a couple months. But time will tell. Persistence and patience are the two most important things when training pups and they are tough to follow cause they take time. But she's come a long way in just two weeks than she has the whole 8 months we've had her. So I highly recommend this collar to anyone. Kira is sporting the pink size M.

Very well constructed and good materials. Excellent fit and cinches well. Love that the closure clip locks. Highly recommended.

This collar is excellent.I have a 1 year old Boston terrier that was terrible walking on a leash,a very heavy puller, jumping all over, running after everything, playing tug of war with the leash, she was stubborn and wouldn't listen to me.I bought no pull harnesses, clicker, and nothing worked until I bought this collar.I have had it 2 days,as soon as it arrived I put the collar on and went on a walk and I was surprised, the behavior problems are gone, and we can enjoy a walk together. It is so easy to adjust, put on and take off.It is such a game changer.I thank the company that made this collar.

Yes the collar can fit a small dogs neck ( my dog is 18 pounds ) collar fits her neck. But it is so bulky that you can't use it. And it completely defeats the idea of the prongs being consealed. you are better off just paying extra for the plan show the progs off petite collars. This is just no use for a dog under 25 pounds.

We got these because our great danes are STRONG. We wanted an alternative to our "Herm Sprenger" brand collars that kept falling apart when the dogs lunged. The dogs still pulled when the rubber tips were on the prongs, so we took the tips off. Voila! Now I can walk both of my danes with one hand. Such an improvement.***I wanted to see IF these collars were hurting my dogs necks. I put the collar on my neck (without the rubber tips on em) and it didn't hurt. (and I don't have fur!)When we pull the collars out, the dogs know it's time to walk and they get excited! We never notice any injuries on their necks.
Poor quality. It was damaged when I received it.
