Was hopeful... but no. There is NO WHERE near 100 lbs of holding force. I was able to separate the magnet from plate steel with less than 10 lbs of force..... even 2 magnets brought together (should amplify the force) had less than 10 lbs of pull..... so no. This was misleading.....

Do not use if you have a metal plate in your head. Now my wife literally can drag me to dinner parties.

This is junk no where near 100 lbs of force can't even hold a 10 pound weight don't waste your money as I did
