Your cart is empty.What are Cow Magnets? Cow magnets are popular with dairy farmers and veterinarians to help prevent the harmful effects of ingesting metal objects. While grazing, cows eat everything from grass and dirt to nails, staples and bits of bailing wire (referred to as tramp iron). Tramp iron tends to lodge in the honeycombed walls of the reticulum, threatening the surrounding vital organs and causing irritation and inflammation. The cow loses her appetite and decreases milk output (dairy cows), or her ability to gain weight (feeder stock). Cow magnets help prevent this by attracting and holding stray metal from the folds and crevices of the rumen and reticulum. Consult a veterinarian on how to administer the magnet.

I purchased several different magnets for a magnet themed kit I was putting together for my son. Out of all the magnets I purchased I like these the best. These are strong enough to snap together but not so strong that they will pinch little fingers too badly. They are large enough that my 3 1/2 year old has an easy time handling and manipulate these magnets. I was hoping the outer coating would make these stronger but I actually broke one when it snapped to a much stronger magnet so it was probably more my fault. I would definitely buy these again.

I needed something to hold a shade screen on my car. Someone told me about these magnets. Not what they were made for but they work perfect for this task. Very happy with my purchase.

Use this on my car with the Kurgo tailgate dog poop holder. Provides extra strength to the hold and means I don’t have to smell poop in the car. Good strong magnet has great strength and holds a lot on the fridge too

I stick these to the gearboxes oil pans and hydraulic oil reservoirs on my equipment. Put them by the drain plug and remove them before you drain the fluid they will attract any metal shavings and keep them out of your equipment.

The package arrived 3 days later than originally promised. The outside box was intact, but the inside bags and two small boxes for the two-sets-of-four magnets were in complete shambles. The magnets are obviously strong enough to work their way out of any unsecured containers & find each other. Why not just ship them as a unit in the first place?The magnets themselves seem to be fine, with great holding strength, and coated to use outdoors without rusting. Just be careful not to let your fingers get in the way when you are handling more than one at a time, as they 'click' together with some force.
