This product works very well. I positioned two pieces in different areas while looking at a level placed on the closed lid. The shims are very hard, which is good so that they don't compress over time. I knew that they would be very difficult to cut with a utility knife after installed, so I placed the whole shim in position and guesstimated how much I would need to cut off. I then used wire cutters to cut the shims which cut them very easily. I then tapped the shims into position gently using a screwdriver and a hammer being extra careful to not break the porcelain.

Shims work as described and process was easy. Unfortunately our toilet wasn’t secured properly by builder, so once leveled the toilet leaked.

You can't easily cut the excess material after installation. I'm currently using one of these at the back of the toilet and it sticks out like a sore thumb.

This worked to stop the rocking problem with our toilet. However, I only needed a very small portion of the tip of the shim so 90% of the product visible. The plastic is quite sturdy and I'm unsure how to cut it so that it's not visible.

None of the stores including the big box stores here in town carried these. They extendend the life of our toilet when we noticed it rocking. We never realized toilets aren't made with flat bottoms. Easy to score with an exacto knife and then snap right off. Saw how to do it on YouTube. Easy. Great product.
