Worked great! As other reviewers discussed ... you need to pop out all of the little circle holes from each grommet while you're INSIDE so the court doesn't become a mess. Other than that prep work - it looks great!

This met every expectation, even one we were warned about. More than half of the grommets were not punched out. This small detail was mentioned by another buyer in his review. The net headband was the correct width to cover our very worn Edwards quality net headband. This would make the installation fun, coming up with an attractive threading of the abundant cord provided.In fact, there was lots of extra which was a worry, before the band arrived. The polyvinyl stitching ran through the center of the punch-outs making it difficult to punch them completely out. Three volunteers (me included) spent over two hours punching out grommets and threading the cord. So, it is a very nice piece that makes our double-corded net hit area & net look brand new.So plan on a lot of extra time & frustration during the installation.

Much less expensive than buying a new net.I put it on a community court because the City was too cheap to buy new nets.30 minutes to install and makes the court "feel" new.

I HAVE USED SEVERAL OF THESE REPLACEMENT HEADBANDS AT SCHOOLS OVER THE LAST FEW YEARS.THEY WILL LAST 0NE TO TWO SEASONS UNDER NORMAL USE.GROMMETS OFTEN COME LOOSE DURING INSTALLATION.UNFORTUNATELY THE ONLY DECENT REPLACEMENT COMES FROM DOUGLAS AND COSTS AROUND $70.YOU CAN OF COURSE PURCHASE A NEW NET FOR $160. IF YOU ARE DESPERATE TO COVER AN OLD COMPETELY WORN OUT FRAYED HEADBAND,THIS PRODUCT WILL GET YOU BY FOR A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME.

My aging net was falling apart. The main structure was intact but the top white tape was all torn. By applying this replacement headband the net is now virtually as good as new. The headband does take some effort & time to install, but the end result is worth it. Highly recommend.

The most difficult part was taking off the old one. The headband was longer than my existing one but not something to get upset. This was very cost effective than replacing a whole net.

The product is placed on top of the top of the net and protects the existing one. It is an excellent product.
