I had a pop-up canopy sheltering a car in driveway, and another in the back yard over a picnic table. A wind storm lifted the one on the driveway and flipped it on to the front yard. The canopy in the back yard was lifted and blown over a six-foot fence into my neighbor's tree. That's just to say how strong the wind was. Since loading each bag with 20 lbs of sand and installing one on each leg, we've had two more such wind storms and had no more flying canopies.They're clunky looking but they hold stuff down.(I gave the "Light Weight" rating only one star because - you know - they are not light when filled with sand.)

It’s inexpensive, sturdy and very easy to use. No reason not to purchase this product. If you need to anchor your tent, problem solved.

The overall construction and ease of use is good, but the 9" x 14" bags do not hold 25 lbs each as advertised (100 lbs per 4 bags). I used river rocks and filled in gaps with sand and was able to get 19 lbs. This would probably be enough to hold the canopy down, but I use these at markets where we are required to have 25lbs per leg, so it is frustrating that the listing isn't accurate.

We're headed on a big camping trip this spring and our desert destination is always windy. I usually spend an hour hunting for the just the right size and shape rock, actually 4 of them, to tie down our pop up sun shade. You mean to tell me that for 40 years I could have simply filled these bags with sand and rocks and been done with it?!Haven't used these bags yet but let me tell you what I can about their construction. Made of tough fabric, single not double stitched, the top strap is a little light weight, the top has Velcro as does the side for attaching to a pole. Oh and not that it matters much but ad says 9x14" and I measured 8.5x13".Let me tell you something, this is an extremely good buy for 4 bags at $15! Get them.

Perfect for my needs. I bought 2 sets, one for a canopy and one for an umbrella stand. I've only used for umbrella stand that wasn't holding in winds with umbrella closed. Filled four with gravel, placed on top of stand base and tied handles around pole. Have had a couple stroms since and umbrella has stayed put. Bags hold the gravel weight well, no raveling seams or wear. Hoping they hold the canopy down equally well.

We ordered these when we ordered a pop-up gazebo! The ones we ordered were blue just happened that the blue of the bags matched perfectly with the blue of our gazebo, so when we filled the bags and attached them to the legs of the gazebo they disappeared into the tent and no one can even tell they are there! The gazebo we have has 6 legs and so we had to order 2 packs of bags, but we landed up using them all. We put 6, one on each leg and the extra 2 we put on the legs into the area where the wind blows the strongest to give it extra strength. They work great and they look just as good! They are really thick and strong, we're really happy with them! You will really be happy with them too!

Ho fatto il reso dell'articolo sia perchè è scomodo riempirli di sabbia, sia perchè avendo il velcro laterale, il palo da zavorrare (nel mio caso quello di un piccolo gazzebo in alluminio) scivola facilmente via in caso di vento. Usati anche per zavorrare un telo per proiezione ma il risultato è stato sempre insoddisfacente...50kg in caso di vento leggero sono comunque pochi...

Meant to review these last year and forgot. Good product and they work well. Filled with earth and strapped to gazebo legs by the velcros. Ease of use, stability and value for money all good
