I really like this canopy. It's replacing a similarly styled canopy that I've had for the last eight years. Compared to that old canopy, this one is better in virtually every way:* It's a foot wider (8'x5' vs 8'x4')* Easier to assemble* Sturdier* Came with cool extras like lights, tool hooks and bottle opener.* Has end caps that adjust a few inches to accommodate different replacement canopy sizes or just to accommodate the existing canopy if/when it stretches over time.My last canopy exhibited the "water pool sag" problem--when water pools in the canopy and permanently stretches it which invites more pooling until the canopy is garbage. It's possible that the extendable end caps would help mitigate this problem by stretching the canopy out when it gets sagged. I didn't want to take the chance though so I build a mini sub-roof out of a bendable vinyl/platic material (see picture). I'm hopeful this will help me get even more years of use out of this canopy as I did from the last one.

Awesome value for the price! $120 purchase price for me. Fairly simple to install. I was able to complete the entire thing solo in about an hour. Just needed help to place it in the final spot. Instructions I felt were a bit lacking but I was able to figure it out.Like other reviews the top was pretty tight to put on. But if you press in the button on the arms and allow them to go in farther than they are supposed to, you can easily put on the top, then pull the arms back into position. You'll know what I mean once you get to this step.Stability is so-so. It's pretty light weight so if this is a more permanent install, get weight anchors that you can fill with sand. There are plenty on Amazon and usually available at your hardware store. It's sturdy enough I wouldn't worry about after being weighted down. The light it comes with is pretty pointless. I'll use it more in the garage than for actual light whole cooking at night. I'll be picking up a set of solar string lightsI would recommend this to friends looking to spend minimal money for some shade while cooking. Seeing that more permanent solutions run near and over $1,000 I'll buy this instead.

This looks good and was easy to put together. Its a little wobbly and could use a support bar across the back. Overall, I really like it.

We are very happy with this gazebo. It fits both our grill and griddle turned side ways for protection from the rain. We just simply roll out the one we aren’t using to allow more space for cooking. We were concerned that it wouldn’t be sturdy enough to handle wind but we just had a pretty bad storm and it still looks perfect. My husband put it together by himself with no problems, he said it was super easy to assemble. We love the shelves on the side and the bottle opener, those are a very handy feature. So far we don’t have anything negative to mention. We love our gazebo!!!!

We needed a small gazebo to shelter our two small dogs from rain and hawks while they are out doing their business and this seemed to be a perfect solution. We use an 8 Section fold up gate to keep them secure under it. It’s been working out perfectly - with even enough room for one of us to stand under it too- but the only issue is (and it would be an issue with any gazebo or umbrella) is that there was a small storm that came through and it blew it over and bent one of the corners and the topper got torn up a bit (within minutes!) so I had to order a topper just after 45 days of owning this. Thankfully the replacement topper was on a daily deal and we got it for $21. Now we have the gazebo turkey tied down X3 at each leg to some heavy duty stakes and it won’t budge. My husband assembled a majority of it alone and had a little help with the topper pulling it in one side while attaching the other. We also strung some solar lights across the top and it looks so cute at night!

This product was a little difficult and time consuming to put together. It looked nice and did a pretty good job for a while. However, after less than 4 years the canopy has ripped in several places. Additionally, there is no where to order the canopy replacement, not even on the Mastercanopy website. There is no model number stated for this item. Though I ordered a Mastercanopy canopy replacement that I found here, it does not fit. The opening in the top part of the canopy is significantly smaller in the replacement canopy. I would have given this 3 to 4 stars had I been able to replace the canopy, but the unavailability of such an indispensable part and the fact that it wore out in 3.5 years warrant my 1 star review.

I was very pleased that the manufacturer used such good quality screws with the heads on them that you don't need any screwdriver or best yet NO Allen wrenches. It was such a relief to not need any tools and didn't have to wrestle with little Allen wrenches. Earlier this year I had to put together an entire patio furniture set and it was exhausting with trying to fit the little Allen wrenches in tight places and needing to turn the screws in tight places so many times with those wrenches. So imagine my delight when this manufacturer actually didn't require all that hassle. And I love my grill cover, I am actually using it as protection from the weather to do my crafting on my back porch. its a perfect size. Love it.My only complaint is the 2 plastic led lights. while they are magnetic which would be great, I have been unable to get them to close they are pretty much useless and will have to get another lighting option.

Perfect fit to cover our patio table and bench.... under a tree so less rain protection and more bird related!

Was looking for a smaller gazebo to put outside sliding doors as roof overhang doesn’t cover full area. After reviewing many decided to try this one. I couldn’t be happier! With the given dimensions had thought I would be installing two of the legs into the raised brick flower bed, however the 5’x8’ dimension includes the roof overhang and the two shelves. The leg dimensions (base) are 52.5†x 83.5†so it fit my concrete area flawlessly. The parts are solid and well made; was easy to put together (did by myself); and the hardware (3rd pic) makes the assembly very easy. Also includes metal pegs for securing the base into the ground/wood if was needed.Unable to comment on how weather proof (rain etc) the gazebo canvas top is at this point but it does seem well made. Have plans to cover it with something additional (tarp) for winter, but I have full faith that the frame is durable enough to easily withstand a BC Okanagan winter.Highly recommend!!!!!

This was bought to cover my BBQ at the cottage as I sometimes do BBQ in the rain. The assembly instruction were not very good. It would have been nice to see a step1, step2 ... It requires at least 2 people to assemble. One bracket support for the side shelf was bent out of shape but the other 3 screws held it okay. the canvas top was a challenge to put on. It had to be stretched a bit. Some instruction as to how to do this would have been helpful. I screwed each leg to our deck and it survived our first rain storm. I'm not sure if it will handle a strong wind. Storage for the winter will be a challenge. I think I can lift the whole top with the cover off. Every thing is attached with wing nuts so no tools are realty needed. It's only been installed for a few days so I have no idea about durability
