I purchased this pack to mat custom paint by number family and pet portraits for presents! The quality is sturdy and perfectly cut to exact size needed to frame artwork into thrifted frames. Great value because it help me save money from not using a professional framing service. Each piece was easily inserted into frame to border the paintings. This product was very functional as a frame matting and the pictures look expensive hung on the wall.

I bought 16x20 mats for 11x14 prints. The white is crisp with no specks. The bevel is perfect on every mat. They were expertly packaged and arrived on time. I will be buying more for sure.

The only thing negative is I wish they were a brighter white like the one I found at Michael’s but they were out in store and this was a better deal. They are a perfect fit and shipping was quick and handled with care.

As the headline indicates, I was most impressed with the care that was taken to get the (vulnerable) mats, especially the corners, delivered in perfect condition: NO BENT or partially CRUSHED corners! I always hold my breath waiting to see the corners, especially, of the shipping containers of photo frames or mats ordered on-line. Does the box look like it was used as a football in the shipping room? Or as a frisbee? Or does it look like it was handled carefully AS IT SHOULD!In this case, the care in packing and preparation for shipping (I assume by Mat Board Center) was the best I have ever seen. The 18x24 mats were first wrapped/sealed in a plastic envelope made for this size exactly, to insure clean mats upon delivery. Then, the sealed mats were carefully placed on, and in the center, of a protective firm outer cardboard leaving about a 3" border all around the mats, then covered with a second cardboard same size to "sandwich" in the mats with that 3'' protective border, and taped around the edges to keep the sandwich tight and intact. Then, this very secure pre-packaging was put into an oversized box 29"x37"x2" or so (Maybe Amazon did this part - I don't know.)I gave them 4 stars and not 5 because the product description led me to think I was getting boards for 2 photo displays - that is, the matting of a photo requires a back mat to hold the photo and a front mat to "window" - reveal - display the photo. Instead I got two "windows" or front mats, with no back mats. I'm used to seeing complete back-and front pieces sold together as one unit, I guess. The product description should have been clear and explicit (i.e. find your own "back mat" - it's not included!). BUT I should/could have asked first, instead and presuming on past experience.The (front mats) were well-cut and beveled properly, the mats are bright white.

This mat board arrived much faster than expected and didn't disappoint. It was the correct size and looks great in the frame. Very happy with it.
