These are genuine Mathews monkey tails. They work great and are easy to install. Don’t waste your money on the cheaper ones they don’t work. These are well worth the few dollars extra.

They are fantastic, unless you shoot all the time at high poundage. The black ones tend to last longer than any of the reds ,blues, grays etc. Over time they break and fly off. They can be quite challenging to install if you haven't ever put them on before. There are a few good videos for installations it's not impossible, just takes patience. This has just been my experience... but I still use them.

Did not need four. Had one. Needed one. Unfortunately, buying one on line was not an option. Sadly, I had to watch a You Tube to figure out how to install symmetrically with my other monkey tail. Another life-changing intellectual hurdle. Look for the sweet spot on your bow string to maximize sound reduction. Notable difference in effectiveness when I did that
