This is a great popcorn machine. We bought it for our home theater. It's ideal when we invite friends over because it makes a big batch of popcorn. Pretty easy assembly & it looks great! Easy to use.

Like the look and the size - not as big as I thought it would be (which is a good thing). Assembly was fine until I got to attach the wheel frame to the bottom of the box - the holes were not even close. I had to expand the 4 hole slots in the wheel frame quite a bit using a drill and jigsaw. But once together it looked great. Just made the first batch using Orville Redenbacher, flavocal, and coconut oil - came out great. Smoked a bit (I assume due to first use). Popped kernels fell out while popping due to the glass door not being snug (design flaw). We put in one cup of corn and that made three full large bowls of popcorn in a few minutes. Fun to watch and popcorn tasted great (first time I have used coconut oil). So all good for the most part. Big negative though - this thing is a pain to clean especially the kettle as the cover does not completely come off without disassembly. We had gotten one for free that was pretty gummed up earlier just to try the concept - now I know why it was so gummed up. So probably better for an occasional party versus an everyday use due to the hassle of cleaning.

The cart was fiddly to assemble, and it feels like they made this model as cheaply as possible without hindering functionality. I understand there are more expensive models available, and I assume the sheet metal they're made from is probably thicker and heavier than that of this machine. Some of the parts feel a bit flimsy, but not so much that it doesn't do exactly what it says on the tin. So they've got the science of concession popcorn down to its bare minimum requirements to make at home and they succeed at this task. I chose this model over smaller cheaper options because it had all the features I wanted including heat lamp and heated deck with old maid holes and catching drawer. I doubt this unit would withstand commercial use for any realistic time frame but if you don't mind up to an hour of clean-up time and you buy all the right ingredients and follow instructions you will be rewarded with the sights, tastes and smells of an authentic movie theater popcorn experience. Use Orville's Original kernels, beta carotine colored coconut oil, Snappy Butter Burst topping oil, Flavacol salt for best results.

Although the tools that came with the popcorn maker were poor quality and did not fit, the popcorn maker was easy to use. Great product. Super cute.

Simply the best home movie popcorn you can make! This machine is a monster. The kettle is a full 8 ounce capacity so 2 or 3 runs and you will fill your capacity of popcorn. Match this production to a near 700 Watt bulb to keep everything warm. Needless to say, do not touch that heating lamp. Recipe to make that perfect movie theatre popcorn: 1 ounce coconut oil (included large measuring scoop) + 1/2 cup of popcorn (included popcorn scooper) + a heaping 1/2 teaspoon of Flavacol (measuring spoon not included and a little of this stuff goes a long way). Mix oil & flavacol together and when hot, add your popcorn - really no need to add additional salt. Enjoy!My box arrived damaged but it is so well packed that it did not cause a scratch to my machine. I could not figure out how to remove a box they packed inside the popper and had to cut it up in pieces to retrieve the goods. The manual sucks. The manual is for a different model where they have handle bars on both sides (mine came with just 1 handle bar, exactly as shown on Amazon). The nuts and bolts are not numbered and you have to figure out where they all go. Luckily, you have very small holes, medium size holes and large holes so you can pretty well guess where each screw goes. I was tempted to downgrade the review to 4 stars due to this manual crap but the popcorn is just too damn good and have to leave this at 5 stars.

La palomera está muy pequeña del cristal y es muy incómoda de manipular con el contenedor, si es complicado servir y hacerlas al mismo tiempo. No estoy satisfecha con la máquina. Como hago para devolverla.
