I purchased this for my Son as he’s growing older & his athletics have become more intense so I thought he needed a better mattress pad for better sleep quality as well as more support for his body. Well now he has the best one in the house! I’ve tried it out. This surely is a pillow top mattress pad. It’s very soft & extremely comfortable to lay on. It feels like I’m laying on a bed of pillows. Each “pillow†is fluffy but firm to a degree. It was made with great quality. Not one flaw to it. I love how it’s not the usual pocket type of mattress pad to slip under the mattress. Rather with this pad there are strong elastic bands on each corner that go under the mattress. They keep it in intact on the bed. There’s been no problem keeping it in place once the fitted sheet goes over it. Yes I would say the top is 2 inches deep as you can see in my pictures. My Son loves it. He has told me he sleeps better than ever & it’s of great relief to his body. Wonderful quality for the price I paid. I definitely recommend this.

I am actually surprised by how soft it is! I like that the edges have elastic instead of being fitted all around like a bottom sheet. It fits my odd-sized guest bed that way.

This came vacuumed sealed. It has been fluffing for about an hour now. Shook it vigorously as it suggests. Quality looks good. So far much happier with this then my last one I ordered. Will have to see how it goes the more it fluffs. It appears it is going to be very comfortable. Material is great, and I think it will help me sleep cooler. *Will update if anything changes.

My mother LOVES this. She's in an assisted living facility and has to have a hospital bed, which was horribly uncomfortable. This made such a difference. She is sleeping well at night and sometimes doesn't want to get out of it. Thank you!

I bought this mattress topper hoping that it would alieve the pain I’ve been getting in my shoulder over the past month. My firm matress was great when I bought it, but my aging body ten years later, doesn’t appreciate the firmness anymore. I was locking into buying a new mattress. Ugh. Didn’t want to go thru that. I was looking into getting a Purple mattress. Damn they are expensive. Down the road, I may have to go that route. But I was happy to find out about mattress toppers, which I hadn’t heard of before. Looked into foam at first, but decided with all the negatives of foam, a fiber fill one would fit bill, provided it offered enough comfort.Just received the package yesterday. The mattress topper came vacuum packed in a bag, nicely accented with purple ribbons around the bundle. Not necessary, but a nice detail. Instructions card says shake and to let the mattress air out for a half day, so it can achieve proper loft.I chose this topper because of the the boxed construction to prevent fill shifting, and the 2†gusset. No it is not stuffed full to 2â€, but it allows the fill to loft up. If it had the same fill and shorter a gusset, the fill would be compressed. Ultimately the reason why I chose this particular topper, was the fill weight. I figured the different fills had similar loft performance, so I chose the one that had the most weight. According to the product information, this item weighs 10.89 pounds, which is more than the other mattress toppers I could find, even the one ones that are three times the price. I don’t know about the actual weight, but it definitely has weight to it, and is most likely accurate.I was concerned about the negative reviews about being thin, or not providing any loft. Been worried I’d have to buy a foam topper as well. But that definitely isn’t the case with the one I received. In the long term we will see if I need further padding. But for now, it feels like it will work.I put the topper on the mattress, and enclosed both inside of a mattress encasement. It appears that there is enough slack, so that the encasement doesn’t compress the topper. So now both the mattress and topper are protected from dust mites and spills.

Not much to it really. I was hoping for a bit more thickness as I was replacing one I had bought at Target two years ago and would have bought that again if I’d found it but just took a chance on this one and was disappointed. Also I have a thick mattress and the straps just barely fit …seem ready to snap. My previous topper didn’t have this issue, the straps were plenty long enough for comfort and secure placement. Maybe if I was not comparing this to my old one I’d be happier with it, so others might like it. It seems well made and came well packaged etc…

My husband is on a hospital bed, which he was finding uncomfortable. This pad has made all the difference – he reports that the bed feels luxurious and is now very comfortable. It seems to have been a good choice. I put it directly on the mattress with the mattress protector covering it, to protect it from any spills. The sheets and blanket then go over that. I plan to give the pad a good shaking whenever I change the linens, to keep the filling fluffed up. In my experience, "memory foam," is the wrong thing to use for cushioning, as it is designed to compress, which is opposite to what's wanted here. For fluff, this is more like a featherbed but less expensive and more practical, especially for short-term use.

Delivery was fast. It is compressed in a small bag which is very light and convenient to move. All you need is a pair of scissors to open it. The mattress topper is quite soft. My girlfriend and I enjoy rolling on it and so is my puppy. The size is big enough for more than two people lying on it. Highly recommended.

"Just like sleeping in cloud" is the tag used for this product. This is nowhere near the truth. I am so disappointed with this. It is too flat and not thick enough. I did all the right things - shaked it thoroughly, left it for a whole day to air and was excited to sleep on my bed that first night. It has hardly made any difference. I thought that by paying more for something like this, I would get a great product but I feel totally cheated.
