Super cute, comfy and flattering. Great for the beach or whatever. I love them so much I bought 3 diff colors (black, navy, camo). The black shorts I received were wider than the navy shorts, although both are marked size 6. I exchanged the size 6 black shorts for a 4, perfect fit. Definitely recommend these shorts, once you find your correct size.

I agonized over buying these shorts vs. others. I read all of the reviews and in the end I purchased two sizes. My pants size is a 12 so I ordered a 12 and a 14 just in case. I'm exchanging the 14 for a 12. The material is lightweight and the shorts seem well made. They look good. I gained a lot of weight this year after a divorce and I was not feeling good about putting a bathingsuit on. I decided to wear these with a rash guard or a tankini top. I am 5'5" with muscular legs and thick knees lol. I was worried they would be snug in the legs and they are not. These shorts are the perfect length. Not too short but not frumpy. I am not super curvy so my rear and waist are proportionate to the rest of my body. I'd say average body shape. They sit below the belly button making them very comfortable. I could get away with the 14 if I planned on staying this size. They don't look bad. My boyfriend said they were cute and liked them until I put on the 12 and then he said actually, those fit better. It depends if you like to have a little extra room or not. I think they fit true to size. There's a little give in the material but not so much that they feel like they will stretch out.

I bought two pairs in different colors and have worn both multiple times while hanging around the house or working in the yard. The fit is good and they’re true to size. They have just enough stretch and are generally comfortable.I wore the black pair swimming to give me a little more coverage than a swimsuit- they didn’t fade from the chlorine and they dried quickly.The only drawbacks I have is that I wish they had a model with a built in liner. I ended up wearing these over a swimsuit bottom because wearing them with nothing underneath wouldn’t have been comfortable and swimming in underwear would have been weird. I also dislike the Velcro/tie closure. It’s not terrible it’s just annoying to have to undo all or it if you go to the bathroom. A simple zip/button closure would’ve been better IMO, but for the general intended use of being board shorts that might not work.

I got these as a gift for my wife because she wanted to try something in the territory of board shorts. They have become her new go-to for swim and any other activity where we might encounter water. She says they are comfortable and fit her well and they definitely look great. Quality seems solid.

These are true to size. I wear a 10 and they fit comfortably loose. If I wanted tight fit(form fitting), I'd get the 8. If you're on the fence, just get it. I wasn't disappointed at all, quite the opposite in fact!

I am giving 3 stars for fit and style. These really are great women's boardshorts. My only complaint is that the Midnight Camo color bleeds black onto my legs. I've worn these shorts 3 times and they got wet each time. I wore sunscreen 2 of the times and had regular lotion on the other time. It seems to only be on my thighs where there's the black accent material on the bottom. After the last wear, I tried to wash these in hot water to get them to bleed. My thought is that I could bleed out the rest of the black color enough that it will no longer bleed on my skin. The water looked clear after washing them. Perhaps the company has another idea to get these to stop bleeding when I'm wearing them???

I am a size 8/10 in pants. My hips at their widest are 41 inches. I ordered the size 10 and it was too small. I returned it and got the size 12 which fits good in the hips. It's a bit big in the waist but I can adjust it a little. The white tie on the front is not really functional. There is a velcro closure behind it. If I put the two sides of the velcro touching completely, the shorts will sit on my upper hips. If I move the velcro so that it is off-center and I pull the white tie hard together at the top, I can make the waist a little smaller and it will fit up higher but not quite on my true waist.The fabric feels good and the shorts are long enough to cover well. You don't have to wear anything under them as no one can see up. I tested this by sitting on the floor opposite a full length mirror with my knees up to my chest and the shorts were long enough to fit tight around the thighs in this extreme position without revealing anything. I'll test the shorts in the water and, if they don't perform well, I'll update this review.

I ordered a size up, as it seems every pair of board shorts I have ordered from anh company always run super small, even when I follow their sizing. I’m glad I followed my instincts and went up a size here also. These fit perfect. At first I thought they weren’t going to fit either, as they are a bit tight going over the hip area - but they did go on, and once on are super comfortable and fit well. My advice is, measure, follow the chart, and if you want a little more room rather than painted on and chaffing, order a size up.
