Fits my son very nicely & looks great in person. The zippers work well, the fabric is thin but sturdy enough. I purchased a space helmet separately & it goes great together.

I am super happy with this purchase. This is not your normal mediocre costume apparel. The patches look so real and the jump suit is high quality and done well. My son is over the moon happy with this. He had to wear it for a wax museum but after seeing it and trying it on, he WANTS to wear it for Halloween. 😀

Maxim Party Supplies Kids Astronaut Costume is out of this world! My little one absolutely adores it. The quality is top-notch, with durable materials that withstand all the adventures of a young space explorer. I got this for my daughter who grew out of her nearly identical astronaut costume. I was so glad to see this one offered in a larger size because before when I looked they didn't get any bigger. My girl is 6 and wears between an 8 and 10. This one had the room around the middle that she needs and that is wonderful! She loves this so much!

Likes:On time last minute purchaseFit my 7 (nearly 8) year old; he’s about 50†tall and thin-normal size.I bought size 8-10 based on reviews and was glad I sized up to this size. Was a smidge long in length of the legs but wasn’t an issue with shoes.Anticipate he could use it next year.Has better more “authentic†or quality looking zippers/ patches/ belts than the toddler version we have (probably not same company ).I expected some sheerness but it wasn’t as bad as our toddler version (In the pic, you can see his BRIGHt orange strip on his athletic pants, but I’d say as long as the clothing under the costume was the same color - his was all gray- it would be very unrecognizable).I actually loved the padded, upright collar on the suit.Easy for him to zip himself into at schoolCons:I think the belt clip was a bit hard for him to clip on and off by himself? It’s not fastened in this pic (he changed himself at school), but it also wasn’t noticeable at all to me until I edited the photo for this review.Very satisfied with my purchase
