Got this to replace the idle-up valve on my 1JZ. Since I’ve had my motor, one of the ports was broken off the original valve. As I’ve got my car more together, this is one of the little things that needed replaced. Swapped out the original sensor with this one within a couple of minutes, connected my vacuum lines, and all is good! When turning the wheel, the idle now bumps up slightly! Happy to have another thing working as it should!

I had to replace this on my 93 SC400. My old one was the OEM one, I'm pretty sure. It was definitely time for a new one, as the tell-tale signs of failure had started. To replace this part, you're going to have to go from underneath, and possibly remove the alternator. My car needed an alternator anyway, and with it removed, it's easily accessible right next to it. You might be able to do it with the alternator still in, but it would be a tight squeeze. I'm not 100% sure since I only looked at it when my alternator was out. Not hard to replace, but getting to it is the challenge. Seems to be fine. I'll come back later to update if there are any quirks or issues that arise.
