Essentially sharpness is the key. They grip nails for pulling and snip if they won't come out. A good set well worth the money.

This set has three different sizes, shapes, so to make the tool function better.A small pair for tight areas and small hardware. A medium pair for larger hardware.A large pair for more leverage to pull larger hardware. Right tool for the job.

These work great and save a lot of time when you just can’t quite get screws or nails out.It does leave the tail behind, clearly, but if you don’t need that same hole after a cut, you’re golden.
