These are very nice heavy duty chain clamps. They come packaged in individual sealed plastic bags and are lightly oiled to prevent rust and corrosion. The chains are 19" in length just as advertised. In addition to the knurled thumbscrew, there is an advantage they don't even advertise (as of this review anyway). The thumbscrew has a hex key socket in the end of it that allows you to tighten or loosen it with a hex key if you ever have the need (see last picture).

These are not the same quality as the Vise Grip brand but for the price they performed great. I will recommend them and would buy them again.

Some of these new/random/unknown manufacturer clamps can be very low quality, but after receiving these particular clamps, I can't see any reason why I would want to pay more for a bigger name brand. Fit and function seem just fine. One star deducted because I'm pretty sure I received a used item (plastic open, and clamp dirty/greasy).

This is a pair of chain clamps. They come in handy for welding, assembly, and when working with pipe. They are not top quality, but they do work fine. I don't see a weight rating on these, but I'd feel safe using them up to a few hundred pounds.

Locking chain pliers have an advantage over pipe wrenches and bar chain wrenches. You can clamp them on a nut and turn them either way, while the other two wrenches only turn in one direction. After turning in one direction, you have to flip them to turn the other way.The material used for the pliers is solid and thick. The screw at the end is well-formed, fully threaded, and provides you with accurate sizing and tension. There is a hex key slot on it, which is convenient. The chrome plating is well done, and there are moderate non-slip grooves on it. However, there could be more of them. The rivets are nice and thick, and the chain is well-made. The release is easy to engage and release. It was easy to clamp the pliers around a 6†round threaded nut. The only weak spot on one set of pliers was the very thin mount for the spring release.Even with the one quality control issue, they are very competitively priced, very well-made, and are a really good value, especially for a set of two.
