I’m planning to work on my glass picture window (glass about 7-feet square). I plan to use four of these suction cups to make sure the large piece of glass remains controlled. The 110-pound capacity is for vertical, and not lateral. At some point, the glass will be laterally carried (lateral to the suction cup). The lateral capacity of the suction cup is not specified, and I don’t know the weight of the glass at this point. I guess I’ll have to do more research. The tool performs well, but I could not test the weight capacity of the tool. The rubber makes a good vacuum, and the aluminum alloy material makes the tool strong but light. It should work.
