This LED light kit was a direct replacement for my 12-year-old Carry-on Trailer from Lowes. The lights have color-coded wire and is also printed on the back of the lights. They have three wires (white is ground). The wiring on the trailer was not color-coded so I needed to test the wires to find the directionals. Once done, the other wire was for the taillight. My trailer did not have a ground wire, so I drilled a hole and attached the white ring connector to the light bracket on the trailer. It took longer to remove the old lights (rusted bolts) and test wires. Works very well and brighter that the originals. Being a sealed unit, The lights should last the life of the trailer.

Purchased to replace the old bulb type and the LED didn't disappoint. Works well and easy to install.

These seem to be decent lights as I replaced my old bulb type trailer lights. Easy to install, work as designed. I would have given 5 stars but they are not what is shown in the picture. They do not have screws on the lens, which I actually wanted. They appear to be a sealed unit.

With the old halogen bulbs, it seemed that every time I went to use my trailer, I would get a warning for a burned out bulb. The halogen bulbs just can't handle the rough ride that the trailer suspension provides. My only regret with these MAXXHAUL LED lights is that I did not switch to them sooner! I have spent more on replacement bulbs in the past 4 years than the total cost of these LED lights.I was concerned that my modern SUV would not light the lower voltage draw of the LED lights, but I have had zero issues...they work great!Install was a breeze, with minimal wiring required.I have not tried their water-tightness since I put them on a car trailer, not a boat trailer. Quality seems good though so I would bet they hold up to being submerged, as long as you do not crack the housings.Overall, this is a no brainer decision. Buy these, you will not regret it!

Easy and straight forward to install. Direct fit on 5x10 utility trailer. Much better and brighter than stock halogen. Great upgrade for any trailer.
