This mattress is amazing- quality, size, weight, the fact that it's portable for travel if you need to take it with you vs having a jumbo mattress and having to have 2 or more people help you out is so convenient. The height of mattress is good, but if your getting a bedframe for it, make sure you have a good flat surface. Mine has bars so sometimes I feel like I'm touching the bedframe but not really if I sit too long. If there is a 8inch version of this, that in my opinion would have been truly perfect. Nonetheless, the mattress itself is high quality, budget friendly for all your needs and it checks a lot of boxes for me.Great mattress by the company, thank you!Note: some people have said there is a chemical smell, keep in mind it comes from manufacturer and packaged so you need to let it ventilate out the smell and you should be fine afterwards. Make sure to give it a good solid day (or a few hours really) in advance use to get fully firm but if you have to sleep on it immediately, make sure to flip the other side and go about your day so the mattress can get to its full form. I recommend having mattress topper/comforters for additional height so you don't feel like your sinking in completely, but again- very comfortable mattress, love it.

I actually put this on a futon bed frame (folding). Since it's so thick it's a little hassle to fold but it's also way more comfortable than a thin one would be. It did have a little storage smell but it aired out quickly. I did lay on it on the bare floor and it was fine that way too.In the future if I replace it I'd prefer to purchase direct from the company. Others should do this as well!

My husband and I both sleep on the floor now. I've been doing it for 3 1/2 months and I love it. He's been doing for about 10 days. After trying 5 different mattresses w/ different feels my back pain was so bad that I was having to ice it several times a day. After one night sleeping on the floor, in a hotel, to get away from hubands snoring, I woke up w/ no back pain! And bingo I gave up my big beautiful bed and I've not missed it one time. Anyway, my husband felt like this particular floor bed was not right for him so I switched my mats for his/this one. I really like it. It has just enough give that a side sleeper like me likes. I am used to a firm feel and I like that this one feels a tiny bit cushy compared to the mats I had been sleeping on. For people not used to sleeping on the floor/firm bed, this one might not be soft enough for you but if you want to lean into that try using more blankets or topper until you get used to it and then remove them. For reference I'm a short (5'4") heavy person.

I bought this to go on a convertible futon bed/couch. Right now it’s in the couch position. The mattress is very comfortable, but it keeps slipping down and out, such that now the mattress almost a foot past the frame. I’ve actually fallen off of it. Any suggestions?

This took a month to ship. Also it is surprisingly unsupportive. If you lay it on the ground and lay on your side, your hip WILL be laying on the ground unsupported. It's just simply too soft and does not distribute the weight evenly. Even when put on top of a mattress topper, the mattress folds up as your weight is on it because it's unable to distribute the weight evenly. Would not recommend, I am 5'9" and 145lbs and this is not even close to enough support.

I love love this mattress the only issue I have is it slips a lot on my bed frame but other than that it's comfortable it's Sturdy and To me worth ever Penny
