BLOWER MOTOR REPLACE STEPS:
1.Detach the cover from the bottom of the lower dash—it’s usually held in place by screws or clips. The blower motor will be attached at the bottom of the climate control unit, usually with screws.
2.Disconnect the wires from the blower motor.
3.Remove the screws holding the blower motor to the climate control unit.
4.Carefully slide the motor out of the housing. There will be a plastic wheel on the far side of the motor.
5.Gently work the plastic wheel off of the shaft.
6.If applicable, attach the blower wheel to the new motor using the spring clip.
7.Reinstall the motor into the climate control unit.
8.Once it’s secure, reconnect the wires.
9.Check the function of your new motor for noise and vibration.
10.Reattach the cover under the dash.

Fit perfectly in my 2012 Acadia Denali. Performs as expected, no problems installing. It literally was a 15 minute job to replace and that’s with me having trouble getting up and down. I highly recommend replacing the cabin filter at the same time. A clogged filter will cause premature failure of the blower! Cheap insurance!

Upon install I realized I have standing water in the cover so I drilled a hole in the cars cover plate and now need to repair the sunroof leak

Everything on this thing is backwards. The locking tabs to hold it in place are backwards its made to turn counter clockwise to lock while mine goes clock wise the tabs are also alot thin an not very strong bend and chip easily. Decided to put motor an use factory housing. Get it in an sounds great strong. But fan blades are backwards. Also noticed when running its spinging wrong direction. Swapped pins on plug now spinning correctly with less speed but working temporarily untill i get the right one. Also has a cent tube and 2 extra tabs on outside that get in the way of installing even if it would have fit they would need to be cut off

This motor was a lot lightweight compared to OEM motor, but housing fit directly in the same spot with no modifications

This one actually fits unlike the other one I got that said it fits. And this one also has the extra part needed for the floor heat. Easiest install ever. Does have a very slight whirring noise but it’s not bad at all.
