The designs are really cute. The patterns were easy to follow for the most part; some more difficult stitches for a novice - I needed to supplement some descriptions by watching YouTube tutorials but a lot of fun. The frame is unique and looks really nice for display.

I am new to embroidery, this is only my 2nd project and I loved it. My first embroidery was from hobby lobby and it was so difficult to pull the needle through, but the fabric in these kits allows the needle to pass through so easily. Some of the stitches are beyond my capabilities, so I subbed a different stitch. It comes with directions for the stitches, but I found looking them up on tiktok a lot easier.Only downside was the hoops had a sticky brown substance rub off onto the fabric and my fingers when snapping the two hoops together.

I bought this as a filler gift for my daughter. She was able to use the guide included and whip up a few creations! The paper pattern slightly varies from the actual cloth project but is very adjustable and not a reason to lower the rating. Perfect, affordable gift for someone you don't know what to buy. I chose these patterns to use the finished product in my cottage-style hose.

I’ve never embroidered before, but wanted to give it a try! This kit has been great! The instructions are sufficient, but are not step-by-step, so there’s some room for interpretation and doing your own thing. It feels like painting with thread and I loved doing it! It’s taken me about a week (a week where I had a bit more spare time than usual) to complete one kit. Looking forward to doing the next one!

This design is really quite lovely however having an outside circle printed on the outside edges where the hoop is, is inconvenient as I wasn’t planning on washing the item afterwards. Now I have to have an unnecessary outline stitch where I didn’t want one.

Everything is included, and I loved learning this new skill! People love seeing mine hanging up on the wall. Definitely worth it for trying a new skill for a low price!

I've never embroidered and wanted to try something new. It was very straightforward and I didn't have issues with the instructions. I basically only used the straight stitch because it was easier. The border washes out fairly easily although you have to watch out for the white parts and gently wipe them so that it doesn't have a blue hue.My 4 year old likes it so much she insisted it goes on her wall. Picture attached :)

This beginners kit is very well put together. They even organize the threads for you, as well as including scissors, a hoop, and a threader. However, the instructions are written by someone with a very poor grasp of English. I have embroidered for years, but if I had to rely on these directions, the kit would be lying in the bottom of a drawer somewhere. If you're thinking of buying this kit for a true embroidery beginner, don't.
