Does not matter what position you want it in. It will swivel down due to weight being stronger than tension of any one of the multiple extensions in the shaft. Not adjustable, If you were able to tighten 3 the 4th joint would slip. Plus it's a plastic mirror surface susceptible to major permanent scratching. Bought with hope and it arrived a failure.

I have a Corvette. These vehicles have no place on them that is easy to see without taking half the car apart. This mirror and a good flashlight change that and allow me to examine the undercarriage of the car. (only 3" off the ground) It's bigger than most and seems to be distortion free. I like it and will probably be buying another.

Excellent product if the fastener was more durable. I used the mirror for one day inspecting a rail system. I used the telescopic feature frequently throughout the day. By the end of the day the fastener to the mirror kept coming loose. A small hex will re-tighten but it just keeps coming loose. I might try to salvage with gorilla glue. But for this quality the product shouldn’t be more than $10.

This mirror is perfect for my work inspecting. I would recommend care as they do get scratched easily.

So happy with my purchase. My knees don't work well to bend them sideways. This tool allows me to see the bottom of my feet. The smallest thing on a toe can become a big deal. Too bad doesn't have a light. I don't like the LED light anyway.

The mirror itself looks great as it's very crisp and clear. However, he telescoping handle is barely strong enough to hold the weight of the mirror without breaking. This would be a 5 star product with a better handle but is pretty much disposable with the junk handle. I returned this item immediately.

He needed it to see in the gutters to see where the leaves were clogged so he didn’t have to climb a ladder. It works great!
