I have a vintage property built in the early 1900's, when it was time to replace the old. I knew it was the one. I read many reviews and decided I should hired a Pro to install. The Post & arms came in two packages. I had to purchase a 4X4 post, special bracket & cement screws to attach the pole to the cement,(found at the hardware store). I also purchased the brackets to set the mail box on & the solar light for the top of the post. Once we had received all the packages & purchased the extra materials the mailbox was installed fairly quickly. The material is hard plastic & slides over the 4X4. All the screws came with the package, (The Pro had all the tools). Then he measured to make sure the height of the mailboxes were as needed for the Postal Delivery. It is a bit wobbly which is why I gave a 4 star rating for the sturdiness. I think it looks great!

I ordered this post in clay. It's a very subtle color, but it looks very nice and sturdy. We did have to buy some cement and a wooden poll in order to install it, so be prepared to go to Home Depot. Also, it would be great if the manufacturer included a few extra screws - it comes with 4 screws needed to attach the sides to the post, and it seemed flimsy with just 4. After we added a few extra screws, it's perfect! It's hard to find a good double mailbox post. There are few and between at a reasonable price. This worked great for us, and the seller went an extra mile to make sure we had a positive experience.

I was worried this would look cheap since its all plastic but I'm very impressed by the quality of the post. We've received several compliments but the brackets that the mailbox sits on are very flimsy. They send screws and bolts for installation but we ended up having to use several additional screws for each side.

Sorry, no feedback on durability, value or ease of use here. It showed up on time, but that's the only good news. Just a post in a box which was obviously returned by at least one previously disappointed customer. No "Double Arm" assembly. No notice of partial delivery. In fact, it seems like the delivery notice got mixed in with an earlier delivery of other mailbox parts I ordered. No human interaction available to help investigate. My only option was "return purchase" for whatever canned reason most closely misrepresents my scenario in the automated return system, then add a note describing the real problem.

We really liked this purchase. I ordered and my husband installed professionally. Looks great with larger mailboxes on top. Don't get the smaller ones.

Good looking, easy to install. Main issue is lack of sturdiness of the plastic side arms. It's an okay product but could be better.

The post cover itself was easy enough to install but attaching the mailbox to it was not a one person job. It required an adapter which I purchased locally with many screws and sleeves. It was all worth it when done as it looks beautiful. It is not has heavy duty as I had expected will have to see how the winter in northern Illinois treats it.
