These are the perfect size to replace 3 of my discolored originals I had purchased locally many years ago. The frames I have them in are perfect, I just needed new mats and these fit great and are a nice, crisp white. Very happy!

A good quality. Lines are crisp and well cut. The black isn’t as dark as I expected, which if I was not framing a lino cut with black ink I don’t know that you would notice. A great value for the price and is perfect for an artist or art teacher!

They were fine. Arrived undamaged and were the size I needed and quality I expected. Technically they were black mats, I suppose, though I ordered black mats in 2 other sizes from other sources that were both considerably darker so when everything was hung together these mats looked dark brown in comparison which is why I removed a star.

Cutting a matt board is not easy. You need a lot of skill and the right tools. So, it was lovely to be able to purchase these and pop them right into the frame with the photos. One hint: use acid-free photo tape. If you use regular tape it will dry out, discolor your photos, and lose its hold. Photo tape will hold your photo in place a lot longer. I haven't had one fail on me yet.

While the product was as described, the mattes were shipped with no cardboard to protect against bending. The mattes were simply saran wrapped and put in a thin box. Product bent upon receipt.
