We’d just had painted cellar stairs after removing old small tread carpet squares years ago. Wanted something that had enough traction without being too thick. Also, I didn’t want them glued or nailed. These are exactly what I was looking for. They are thin-ish but soft underfoot. The backing is sticky like a post-it-note and comes up easily to realign, yet doesn’t slide around. I feel much safer and they look really good - I got the cross hatch pattern.

Good size, easily installed. The price was low, but the quality is good. Stairs are much safer now!

The carpet looks nice and helps my older pet climb the stairs more easily. They are much thinner and more flexible than I expected. And the adhesive is not very strong (you can lift and reset them). BUT once set in place, if you iron them on high, the adhesive binds very well and will not move. Tip: set them an inch back from the edge. This helps see the edge of each step when walking down the steps.

These are the BEST stair treads I've ever bought. They are easy to put down and have excellent grip to keep you from slipping and falling. Highly Recommend!!

Love these! Purchased this 15 pack stair treads for our stairway down to the basement for our dogs to be able to up and down the stairs without sliding. My husband at first said he didn’t think they would look good, but after I laid them down, he loves them. The size is perfect does not have a sticky back, but does not move around when stepped on them. Looks great and so far they have been durable with multiple animals going up and down the stairs.

Our stair carpets we had for 4 years finally started getting slippery & losing their rubber grip. I was shocked to see how expensive the stair carpets are now. I found these & decided to give them a try, but I was apprehensive as the description says Adhesive holds them in place & we rent. When we received them I was surprised to see the "adhesive" was not sticky at all. It's more like a rubber window cling. They seem to be staying in place & I'm happy with it. The carpet itself is a little thin & not soft. More of an outside carpet. If it stops us from falling down the stairs I'm happy! Will update if they end up not lasting.

Had to give 3 stars instead of 5 because of the way they ship it folded in half. The middle fold does not go away. Other than that important issue, they are non slip and work. Easy to install. They should ship them flat.

I have a set of 14 wood stairs that are pretty steep and slippery. These stairs are used multiple times day. As I am elderly and have almost fallen down them a few times, it was time to try this. At first I was afraid they'd be worse as I thought I'd be tripping on the edges. I didn't think they would stick very well. But these have been the best thing ever. They stick perfectly and don't lift up. They look great, the quality is great. They clean up with a broom or vacuum very easily. And the cost was also great!

No se despegan ni se mueven cuando las pisas… es tan muy discretas son perfectas para mi perrito viejito que ya no tiene mucha fuerza par subir las escaleras y resbalaba… con las alfombras ya sube sin resbalarse y con más seguridad… producto aprobado.
