I've made a few summer shirts with this pattern and I've been really pleased with the results. The pattern itself if pretty straight forward and the instructions are fairly clear, although they do assume at least a general level of sewing knowledge. It's easy to follow the guidelines to make fit modifications if necessary. Definitely a good project for someone who is beginner to intermediate level.

As the title says, this pattern set is very good. My mother has made me a handful of shirts using this, and they've turned out great.

Needed it for a project got it in time and was able to complete in less than 24 hours. There are tutorials on YouTube that can help with the assembly!!

I am amazed at how few mens clothing patterns are on the market. Im also amazed at how terrible most of the patterns are too. This was the first standard sport shirt pattern that actually fits like a regular mens shirt. Not boxy, not oversized and the measurements are exactly as listed on the package! Fantastic

These patterns are not difficult to follow if you have at least average skills and a halfway decent sewing machine. If you are a beginner, I recommend starting out with solid fabrics rather than with plaids and stripes. It takes practice to get the hang of lining up the fabric pattern properly (front to back, the sleeves, collars, and pockets). If the line-up is off by even a little your shirts may come out looking strange. I'm relatively new to tailoring as a hobby, and I think its cool to be able to make my own clothes. You will find countless varieties of these types of patterns for women's clothing, but rarely can you find modern men's clothing patterns anywhere. Buy some cheap fabric and practice with this one, and in no time you will find yourself making some nice looking shirts. After you start making your shirts with good quality fabrics and in really slick colors you will find that they look and hold up much better than any of the made-in-China stuff that they sell in the department stores.

My husband is a 40" chest with a 34" waist, I made him the large and it's a perfect fit. If this is your first time making a shirt, I strongly recommend looking at some of the online tutorials (there is a great one by a chap called Tock Custom). They explain the front strips and the collar in more detail than the pattern does.Very easy to construct, not too many pieces and a fabulous result.
