It took a little perseverance to put this together, but the end result was well worth it! Looks great and I'm very pleased with the ease of installation. One tip, is to be sure to hang it high enough for the clearance of the door when fully opened with the curvature of the awning. Very pleased and would buy one again.

Not very good instructions. You should have two people to install since its pretty flimsey before you bolt it in. The 80" was not quite 80" and it didnt come with all the screws. I recommend using packing tape to hold it together since the awning part tends to slide a bit and its in 2 peices with a plastic joiner in the middle . Once up theyre very sturdy and weve had some strong winds. Theyre doing exactly what was needed to keep the rain from the window and door wells and they look pretty good. I recommend making a cardboard template to level and drill the mounting holes . There are no instructions to what size holes to drill as the bolts are like a molly bolts that exoands as you thread the bolt into the sleeve. I had to make wedge type brackets to keep them plumb but its because I have a mansard roof thats on an angle, not a typical install. All in all they look good and are doing the trick. I bought 2- 40" and 2 -80"

Had to mount this a little higher than I wanted to because of the middle vertical mounting bracket. But it does the job an awning is intended to do. Because it’s transparent light is not blocked and from the inside it’s bright. It is well designed and the white color blends in. Assembly is a bit time consuming. You need two people to hold it in place while bolting it. Very happy and recommend it.

The panels are cheap corrugated plastic with the color (white) being just a layer of colored sticky film. When unpacking and removing the packing tape, several areas of the white film peeled off!! When installing the rails, again several areas of the white film peeled off.The screws have to be set in a recessed area. Impossible to due without a magnetic bit, except these screws are non-magnetic (Probably cheap aluminum). Assembly very difficult, and parts didn't line up properly. There is no way to insert the screws in the center support on both sides. Poor design.Instructions are useless. Just a one page diagram, no wording.I will suffer thru with it, its just for a shed to keep rain off the door. I will be surprised if the cheap plastic lasts 1 year. OVERALL A STRONG NO-BUY ON THIS ONE.

Love the design and colors. When assembled and installed correctly, it's sturdy and relatively simple.Huge Tips, especially for the 120"---do NOT drill mounting holes in advance---read on...1. caulk the channels in the brackets before inserting the poly sheets2. assemble the entire thing promptly after caulking, make sure everything is square and no tension3. let it sit overnight4. drill ONLY a top corner hole on one side where it will be mounted5. get a friend or two or some skyhooks and hold the unit where it will be installed and install the first screw mounting bolt firmly but still allow the unit to swivel around the bolt with a little effort.6. make sure it is level and mark the other top corner, drill, and install mounting bolt7. drill and install the other mount bolts with the awning in situ---8. put some backer rod on the underside of the awning where it mounts to structure and caulk across the gap from the top9. DONE10--OPTION--you COULD assemble individual sections and mount section---make sure the first section is LEVEL if so cuz any out-of-level will be exaggerated across the next two sections, and there is NO room for adjustment---it will create tension EVEN if you drill the holes in situ---11. the key is NOT to drill mounting holes in advance AND to be LEVEL---no matter how closely you measure, they will be off a little and that will create tension between the brackets as you mount them which shows up in the panels---the tiniest amount of tension is greatly exaggerated across the width and depth of the poly panels

I purchased these awnings for my central Texas home in 2019. They have been great in the way they shade from heat without blocking all the light, as well as redirecting rain away from open windows. They have held up to tough winds and rain these years. What they do not stand up to is hail, which we tend to have at least twice yearly. It's understandable, given that metal cars are also damaged by hail, but it is a bummer that I now need to replace them all, to the tune of roughly $800 (not including installation). I'm now thinking that I should have bit the bullet the first time to get built-on, solid awnings. Lessons learned.

This is great value for money for an experienced handyman type, and I give it 5 stars because the value for money is just off the charts fantastic. It really is a great solution. HOWEVER, you need to know that many of the review comments are correct about assembly issues and apparent flimsiness, and I do think you need to beef up the assembly because then it can be a really robust product. Yes, this feels flimsy and cheap when you open it. Yes, the assembly is not strong. It is a 2 man job to assemble, 2-3 man for installing. The main thing is to beef up the attachment of the middle bars where I've highlighted in the photo. You need metal self tapping screws. Attaching to a wall takes judgment, leveling, savvy,... i.e. experience. The bolts they provide are excellent for brick or stone, but for other siding you need to figure out a solution. I am going to buy it again for a smaller exterior door.
