Lens Coating
MCR Safety's Duramass lens coating is a clear hard coat that provides additional scratch resistance to select glasses, goggles, and face shields.
Ultraviolet Rays 0-385nm
The U6 marking confirms that all polycarbonate lenses found in MCR Safety's eyewear styles block 99.9% of harmful UV radiation found in the Ultraviolet light range reaching up to 385 nanometers (nm).
ANSI Z87+
These products meet ANSI/ISEA Z87.1-2020 standards. This high velocity impact safety glass test method is performed by shooting a 1/4" steel ball at a speed of 150 feet per second aimed at the center of the lens. The result is a Pass or Fail which determines that a lens must not chip, break, or crack and it must maintain its original position in the frame.

I work in Charleston, South Carolina. I have to be outside a lot in the very bright Charleston Sun. These safety glasses are not so dark nor are they tinted. They have just enough Sun reflecting ability yet still allowing you to see things clearly. My eyes are very sensitive to super sunlight and these are the perfect glasses. Highly recommend. They've held up. Haven't gotten scratched yet. Been wearing them for 3 weeks. Plus. I'm not the most careful.

I didn't realize these were mirrored until I got them. I can't wear mirrored safety glasses at work. But they do a decent job of getting rid of glare. They're pretty comfortable and sturdy.

As far as fit goes, they're pretty comfortable. They don't slide around.Clarity is great. They have the perfect amount of tint with no glare at all. I can still see everything crystal clear. I've even worn them after work as regular sunglasses because they are much better than the sunglasses I normally wear lol. Great U.V. protection. Another great thing I like about them is they don't fog up compared to other safety glasses I've worn.Scratch resistance is impressive. I've tossed them in my bag numerous times with keys and not a single scratch on them.Overall, I love them and I recommend them if you're looking for a good pair of safety glasses for under $5.
